QuotaBar

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

Overview

QuotaBar is designed with privacy first. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Everything stays on your Mac.

Data we collect

None. QuotaBar does not collect any personally identifiable information, usage analytics, or crash reports.

Credentials and API keys

Any credentials you enter — OAuth tokens (GitHub, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and API keys — are stored exclusively in the macOS Keychain. They are never sent to us or any third party other than the respective service you are authenticating with.

Network requests

QuotaBar makes network requests solely to the official APIs of the services you connect (Anthropic, GitHub, OpenAI, Google, Moonshot). These requests are made on your behalf using your own credentials to retrieve your usage data.

Analytics and tracking

QuotaBar contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Children's privacy

QuotaBar is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever update this policy, the new version will be posted here and the "last updated" date will be revised.
